From the recording Speed of Light

I love movies. Especially the old classic movies.
This song, 'Speed of Light' was written with the intent to use the illustration that was given in the movie, 'It's A Wonderful Life', where Jimmy Stewart asks,
'Mary, what do you want? You want the moon? I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down for you'.
Mary replies, 'I'll take it. Then what?'
And Jimmy answers, 'Then you'll swallow it, see, and the light will shoot out of your hair and fingers......'
I've always liked that line, so I wanted to incorporate it into a song.
So 'Speed of Light' was written around that one line.

There is magic in your touch - A light shining through your fingertips
And it keeps me traveling, To you at the speed of light
There is magic in your touch - Oceanwaves in your deep, deep eyes
And it keeps me traveling, To you at the speed of light
Still I wonder, yet I wonder, makes me wonder How I love you so much
There is beauty in your smile - That is far beyond any rainbow I have seenAnd it keeps me traveling, To you at the speed of light
Still I wonder, yet I wonder, makes me wonder How I love you so much
Oh you are such a precious child, Gonna drive everybody wild No one can compare to you, Your kind are far too few
You've got to be an angel Sent from up aboveSo full of precious beauty, So full of tender love
And it keeps me traveling, To you at the speed of light
Still I wonder, yet I wonder, makes me wonder How I love you so much
Oh loving you comes easy, the most easiest thing to doBut I've never loved someone so muchAs much as I love you
You've got to be an angel Sent from up aboveSo full of precious beauty, So full of tender love
And it keeps me traveling To you at the speed of light
Still I wonder, yet I wonder, makes me wonderHow I love you so muchI love you so muchYes, I love you so much
